lwl Posted September 1, 2001 Report Posted September 1, 2001 Does anyone know where to get a copy of the sheet music to Provost's Intermezzo, from the movie of the same name? (Toscha Seidel plays it on the second volume of The Auer Legacy.)
Toscha Posted September 1, 2001 Report Posted September 1, 2001 It is included in a collection called "World's Favorite Intermediate Violin Pieces", published by Ashley Publications, Inc. I bought this collection some years ago, so I don't know if this is still in print. If all attempts fail, let me know. Toscha Seidel plays a slightly modified version, with extra flourishes here and there and a different ending. Original (the Swedish version) has a different violinist (nowhere as good, but competent) playing. He plays as printed. Toscha
Jason Fruit Posted September 1, 2001 Report Posted September 1, 2001 Do any of you know who played it for the American version? It happens to be one of my favorite encore pieces. Jason R. Fruit.
