What new works seem to be entering the repertoire?

Interestingly, of the contemporary compositions that are now entering broader play -- meaning by students and the like, as well as on the major concert stage -- the first two that pop to mind are both by John Williams, and both are derived from film scores -- the Three Pieces from Schindler's List, and the Devil's Dance based on the score to The Witches of Eastwick.

I also suspect that Corigliano's Red Violin will enter wider play as soon as the Chaconne becomes available.

Any thoughts on this, or other contemporary works for stringed instruments?
