Aaron
It's a matter of personal taste, not which is musically superior. My taste happens to be Beethoven. Aaron
Mu0n
If 'win' means whoever reaches _me_ the most often and most effectively, then Beeth rules.
jordan747_400
In my opinion, Mozart was the greatest composer that ever lived. So...I would go with Mozart...But Beethoven was great none the less. I like a lot of Beethoven's earlier pieces.
iupviolin
I look at it this way. Mozart was one of the GREATS of his musical Period. Beethoven created A NEW musical movement, the Romantic Period. Therefore I must go with Luigi!
Paganini
You're talking about most musical here. One thing that you guys might want to take in account is the effort level that each spent to create their works. Mozart can create a work while playing billiards. Beethoven wrote, rewrote, and rewrote what he rewrote in order to create his.
V.Mage
A great artist verses a hack, like the Louis Armstrong and Duke Elington Cd I'm listening to right now.

Which is the great artist and which is the hack? Now I'm curious.... I try to keep every preconcieved notion about either out of my mind so I can hear the music for itself. But if I had a choice between hearing one or the other, I wouldn't hesitate. . . Beethoven forever!
