One of these has an article on Catenari violins that I need to get my paws on, but my library doesn't carry this journal and their editorial offices haven't been any help. Ithaca College has boatloads of back issues of the Strad and Strings, so I imagine that other colleges probably have some too. You might be able to use interlibrary loan (does that work for periodicals?). There's probably someone around here that keeps back issues that can send you a copy (sorry, can't help there).
