High Strung
Try this, Journey. www.klammeraffe.org/~brandy/gaelic/Kurs/aussprache/index.html.en I think the difference is just a slash in the address. Let me know if this helps.

MacCeol
i know it's been a while, but if you'd like another group of links, there's a bunch of them at my old gaelic prof's page which can be found here: http://www.stfx.ca/people/knilsen/welcome.html
Journey
Okay, I have another question. . . If one person speaks Scot Gaelic and another person speaks Irish Gaelic, could they still understand the other person? Is there that much of a difference between the two dialects? Tapadh liebh, Journ
MacCeol
from what i've been told, they would understand eachother for the most part, but the languages are different enough to be rather noticable. for instance: cén chaoi a bhfuil tú? and ciamar a tha thu? are the same question, one posed in irish, the other in scottish gaelic. even pronunciation-wise they are rather different, but supposedly everyone will understand, no matter how you ask! now, if the more knowledgable people would be so kind as to provide a worthy answer. . .
