I can't imagine a good reason to glue fake fur to your tailpiece, but there's no accounting for taste.  

Otherwise, it seems to be a pretty violin, with a one piece back, and possibly some effort expended toward fluting the lower F hole wings (if it's not just reflections).  The corners could suggest more Saxon than Anglo heritage.  I wonder what it sounds like?   

As always, I just love Amati's 360-degree viewer.  It really lets one examine the violin body.  I just wish it went full length.

Question for the professionals here, what  kind of glue is best to use for this kind of job?

Anyway bidding is already at the upper end of the estimate range, it might even go for more than the estimate.

A professional might prefer wax over glue.

The glue would depend on the material of your tailpiece and how committed you are to the look and associated image. I personally recommend superglue with no regrets. The antenna ticklers could be tied on.
