Seeking Insights on Violin with Andreas Amati & Antonio Saleri Labels

Hello everyone,

I recently repaired an antique full-size (4/4) violin that has two interior labels:

1. Andreas Amati fecit Cremonea anno 1638 – Made in Germany

2. Antonio Saleri fecit 1767 Nova Eglise – Made in Germany

The violin comes with its original coffin-style case and two bows (one playable, one in need of rehairing). It’s currently listed on eBay here: [link to your listing].

The instrument is in as-found antique condition with some wear consistent with age. There is a hairline crack on the lower right side of the face, which does not seem to affect playability. The sound is bright, powerful, and nuanced.
