munichcello Posted Saturday at 02:03 PM Report Posted Saturday at 02:03 PM Does anybody have an idea which bow maker could have supplied this Bow to J. B. Vuillaume? (Lot 322 Tarisio T2 Berlin) https://t2-auctions.com/auctions/lot/?csid=2200338432&cpid=4218306560#cond
martin swan Posted yesterday at 08:17 AM Report Posted yesterday at 08:17 AM Vuillaume bows were stamped either JB Vuillaume or Vuillaume a Paris. And this is more what I'd expect from a Vuillaume microphoto ...
chrissweden Posted 2 hours ago Report Posted 2 hours ago Without namesaying, there are people that can make stanhope lenses with Vuillaume's image. This is not a bow from the Vuillaume workshop but rather a German copy of the early 20th century. The stanhope lens addition is modern.
