Anybody notice?

Seems like every auction has Gadda violins (sometimes 2 or 3 in the same auction) and Debarbieri violins listed for sale.

There must be about 10,000 violins labeled Gadda in the market!

I have a particular interest in de Barbieri and have seen very few at auction.

Mario Gadda - yes these are very common, mainly trade violins that he certified as his own work.

Gaetano Gadda - don't see many of those.

There have been two in the last two T2 auctions- at least violins labeled as such.

I take an interest in Genoese violins, principally because of my friendship with Alberto Giordano.

For my sins I never look at T2 ... maybe I should start!
