I thought I share this one, as it's a funny little violin from a maker you don't usually think off, especially considering  this particular model is rare.
(photos are raw un edited, white balance is correct but background has not been cleared)
Name of the maker to follow but you may have a crack at it before I tell

In Eric's Book I think there is a Marchetti from 1912 that has a a kindred general look although wider.

But the above instrument is french

So this violin was made by the grandson of François Caussin, nephew of Nicolas and François Hippolyte Caussin, Louis Collenot  who I my opinion made a lot of the late violin ascribed to François Hippolyte. But not this one, as he signed it from Reins in 1899
