This is probably a Song Factory violin made in Hebei China.  It is their Baroque/Festoon model probably purchased in the white and later varnished and set up. The varnish does not look like their work.  These were their mid grade line. These are available on eBay.

Wow, looking through their model options, someone is getting pretty out of hand over there in Hebei. Might need to do a wellness check.

The shop near me has 2 of these scalloped violins hanging on the wall, along with other musikwinkel oddities.

The Chinese copied all of these and invented a few of their own. The scroll/neck do not look old, prob Chinese, very poorly set.  But the rest could be older. All revarnished.  And with old fittings/strings. Some hoppyists mess.

Actually the more I look, the whole thing is looking more Chinese.

I see these come up from time to time in the shops around me. Fun to look at. I have seen a few folk players pick them up as they help build a character for their performances. They perform story plays for kids out in the suburbs and at some of the street festivals.
