Randy R Posted January 22 Report Posted January 22 Ok I got this violin a while back started trying to identify it, and realized that I needed help anyone that can help me with identification value maker timeline would be greatly appreciated. Thank you
Wood Butcher Posted January 22 Report Posted January 22 A basic German mass-produced violin, from the very end of the 19th C. Looks to have had a lot of damage to the top, poorly repaired and appears to have been revarnished, or over varnished at the very least. These were made by multiple anonymous workers, so there is no specific maker. They were made in large numbers, so even in good condition, they are not worth a great deal.
Guido Posted January 22 Report Posted January 22 What he said. And: You might fetch a couple hundred dollars on ebay or the like. Best case.
