nicolaus vii Posted November 15, 2024 Report Posted November 15, 2024 I bought a violin. Is there anyone who'll explain me whether it's real or copy and how valuable it is? Nicolaus Amatus fecit in Cremona 1635
Blank face Posted November 15, 2024 Report Posted November 15, 2024 It’s not a copy but a violin from the Saxon cottage industry, a bit more than 100 years old, with a randomly attached label. The value in a completely new set up and repaired state is that of a beginners violin in your region.

Dr. Mark Posted November 15, 2024 Report Posted November 15, 2024 I find myself comparing hands and backgrounds among new members asking for valuations.
