Hi all, hope everyone is doing well!

Some comments about this bow? Lot of planing on the frog and a bit rough shape in general but no cracks in the stick. Interested to hear what you guys think..

For me it's hard to see what this might be.

The nose has been messed up but the stick could be French - however the wood seems quite plain.

The adjuster end of the stick has been narrowed down to try to make it fit the button.

The frog is pretty wierd - rusty screws in the underslide might hint at Peccatte school but the 2-part heel seems crude and doesn't fit the frog, and the pinning is all wrong for a French frog. The ferrule doesn't seem to fit the frog and has rounded corners on all 4 corners.

So I'm afraid for me it's a bit of a frankenstein ...

Thanks for your observations!! Yes a lot of strange solutions are made and the heel plate with pin seems later addittion.

I kind of like the stick and the head, even nose might make the identifying difficult. Wood looks like something that was used in Peccatte school (according to my knowledge) even it’s not top notch.
