Tiennou74 Posted November 6, 2024 Report Posted November 6, 2024 I couldn’t find info about this maker ( I saw a lot of Andreas Morelli) but this looks like C. Morelli The name carved on the scroll is unique

match Posted November 10, 2024 Report Posted November 10, 2024 It looks like a rather inexperienced amateur work with no commercial value.
Tiennou74 Posted November 10, 2024 Author Report Posted November 10, 2024 Thanks @match I was about to pull the trigger - the back looked nice to me is it the edge work and purfling that stands out as amateur?
match Posted November 11, 2024 Report Posted November 11, 2024 Almost every detail. Outline, lines, curves, arching, ffs, edges, purfling... The scroll is likely prefabricated and then carved with deepest devotion.
