I couldn’t find info about this maker ( I saw a lot of Andreas Morelli) but this looks like C. Morelli

It looks like a rather inexperienced amateur work with no commercial value.

Thanks @match I was about to pull the trigger - the back looked nice to me 
is it the edge work and purfling that stands out as amateur?

Almost every detail. Outline, lines, curves, arching, ffs, edges, purfling... The scroll is likely prefabricated and then carved with deepest devotion.

Possibly the scroll and label were Frankensteinized from a different instrument, the scroll stripped and revarnished.
