Hi everyone, this violin was acquired a few years ago in Italy and I'm looking to resell it. I think it was bought for ~2000€ but I would like to have a better estimate of its value before I proceed. I was able to find some information on Aristide Cavalli online but I'm not sure the tag is to be trusted. I'm an amateur so all I can say about its sound is that it's better than student violins, haha. Please let me know if you need further info.

Thank you!

It is not an Aristide Cavalli violin.

Awfully thick pegs for a violinwith so little wear, and conversely, very little wear for a 120+ year old violin. No bow wear, no finger wear, no case wear, etc.

I think those are geared pegs, and it does look recently made.
