Golden Strad Bow 3/4 Made in England: Worth fixing, value, age?

I'm currently seeling this in "Tori.fi" for 75€, for the reason it's antique.

Should I fix it before selling, or does the fixing cost as much as it is worth? I only see the tip cracked, and it does not have hair. Also is it about 40 years old? Any info of the bow would be interesting.

That’s right. Antique is “defined” as over 100 years old.

Ok, got it. Thanks! I also thought that it was made out of maple wood, because of the pattern and colour. It immediately made me think it could be rare. I was mislead to think it as antique/vintage, because most online sellers call it so. Also they are selling it about 40-150€.

People can ask any price they wish, but that is different to selling it.
None will sell at €40, considering you could buy a new one for much less.

An older one, which is all messed up, as shown in the photos, is worth nothing.

Since I have only encountered a small handful of "Golden Strad" bows in the course of handling thousands of bows in over 30 years, I think yours is rare.  But it's still worthless junk.

They may be rare in your part of the world, but here they were included as part of many children’s violin outfits.
There must be tens of thousands floating around, if not more.
