deans
Finally a violin where anyone can shoot the fingerboard.

Spelman
Looks like one of Ken Butler's pieces: https://kenbutler.squarespace.com/ @Shelbow, I think you'd dig

Ray Weaver
Not a violin, but I'm trying one of Gilles Nehr's Tete-Beche bows. I have never had any interest until I heard a violist playing one at the Reed-Yeboah exhibition last week. The sound just demanded my complete attention, and it has the same affect on my violin. I'll try to add a few pictures tomorrow. Not as Borg like as some of his other ones and the frog is really rather lovely.

Looks interesting, though I guess these are pretty expensive bows?
Ray Weaver
I would try Reed-Yeboah in New York. That is where the one I'm trying is from. It does pull a big sound but it may not be the best match for my violin. I find it perfectly comfortable. The set price is $8.5 K which seems reasonable. The style of scope on this one dates it to the 1980s for me, international style generally but probably a NATO country.
