Jeny Mahon
Presented without comment because I have no idea what is even happening right now https://www.ebay.com/itm/234715769957
Jwillis
Chinese. Brand new. If that is the question;)

Delabo
Maybe the OP is thinking about the construction method used? Cheaper Chinese violins mostly seem to be built using outside mould construction, but this appears to be made using an inside mould. I agree that it’s new and probably Chinese made. Rue
How new do you define "brand new" as? Within the year?
Jwillis
I think I’ve had this violin before or one that was literally it’s twin. It was probably around five years ago. It was green new then. So maybe not everyone’s definition of “brand new” but not that far off
Jwillis
All the fitting were cheap Chinese. So if this is the same violin someone put older fittings on it
Three13
The seller - who has multiple accounts - seems to spend most of his time tarting up Chinese fiddles. I was shown one of them in hand a couple years ago. He'd gone to the trouble of faking pins on the back, and inserted a not-particularly-convincing J. Rocca label. germain
Looks like a violin from the Howard Core Catalog... something like their artificially aged looking instruments named Köhr
