Rough on Bow Hair

I used to have a customer that played the fiddle in a Celtic Folk band and I had to rehair his bow quarterly. On the other hand I have customers that already get nervous if they break more than one or two hairs in a year.

Haha...

Mr Daniels?

How do the sticks look? From the left, at least bows 1 and 3 have some dirt on them so took a little while to wear out rehair.

Heard of a situation where the bows were brought in from a research station. The guy would bring in the bows in every summer. The shop owner thought the player was a teacher.

We used to have the bowed-string players in the rock group "Electric Light Orchestra" visit the Weisshaar shop when their touring schedule brought them to Los Angeles, claiming that they played so hard that they would break their bows (that's the bow sticks, not the hair) during almost every performance. I don't know whether or not they noticed us rolling our eyes. :D
