Can anyone give an educated guess about this violin?

There's no tag inside of it. Nothing written or stamped on the body and/or bows. I was hoping that the workmanship might be enough for an educated guess. I've been unable to google anything all that helpful. Thanks in advance.

It is a cheap mass-produced student or rental grade violin.  Probably made in Germany about 1950 to 1980.  Violins like this often have E R Pfretzschner labels.

Hmmmm...not the answer I was hoping for. But if that's what it is, that's what it is. Thank you. If I can ask, what's the market value of one of these?

FWIW...as it is...maybe worth $50?

New strings are also ~$50...and you need to spend that to find out if it's even playable.

And...if it's playable - it might be worth $250.

...and that's only if there are no open seams or other repairs...and if it doesn’t need a new bridge/soundpost (somewhat hard to tell, what with the bridge being tucked under the tailpiece and all  )...

(And no...the bows aren't worth anything either other than plant stakes...)

Not that it were something to argue about, but I suspect that the op violin is one from the violin factory in Szeged in South Hungary pre fall of the “iron curtain”

This violin has a very strong hollow / recess in the wood, along the entire purfling line (found on many instruments). Is it characteristic of some technique / region / master?

PS: You remember my Fischer, it was completely flat in these places.

No, the technical term is “fluting” and it varies in all geographies

You should study the violin construction vocabulary a bit more before posting. Your posts seem to be pretty confusing (even I, being a Slovak, I tried with little luck to decipher what a Polish guy could think when writing those sentences in English). Don't take their words as rude. Humour on this site may be a bit pub-style sometimes.

...And you are right about my Slavic character (this is the Hard version) :/
I feel terrible since yesterday.
I barely signed up for this Forum, and already (most likely) offended Jakub. I feel pathetic.
You don't even know how much, I've spent the last few days reading older entries (phew). I learn diligently, and if you compare my first entries, e.g. with today's one (Klingenthal) ... I can see the progress myself. (... as for the vocabulary and presentation of the topic)
