SpicyChickenOil
I found an interesting mark on the bottom of my violin, anyone knows what that possibly means? This violin obviously has thewrong label, it can't be Italian and I think it's some late 19c german. Experts, please provide some information about this violin, I'm very interested. jacobsaunders
It will be the usual fiddle from the Markneukirchen/Schönbach region, pre-WWI. The mark (number) by the end pin will just be some musik school or dealers inventory number. You should take more care (time) removing the belly, so that half the belly doesn’t remain on the ribs
