Carl Stross
Wonderful performance from a serious, profoundly dedicated, artist. I am impressed at the sublime quality of her interpretation given the rather serious health problems she's experiencing. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ew_2pW6JzuI
gowan
Beautiful performance. Did you notice that the performance took place 15 years ago so maybe it's prior to the health issues mentioned.

violinnewb
The energy that Midori gives off is apparent in the orchestra and conductor's performances as well.

Glad to hear she still "sounds great" and I hope it'll be for many more years to come.

Potter
Certainly during COVID she has been incredibly active, working with youth orchestras across the US. My daughter was able to play with her and for her, an amazing experience and opportunity! She's an incredible humanitarian along with her obvious musical gifts. She is truly an ambassador for the arts - and very generous with her time. I watched a virtual master class she gave, perhaps 9 months or a year ago, and she spent time with each student, and gave positive and specific feedback to each one. Sure - that's what a master class is all about, but it was still impressive with so many kids. And she does this all the time!
mmo06
i had the chance to see her perform the Korngold with the Phoenix Symphony last year, as well as spectate a masterclass she was having. both very memorable experiences!
