Reflections on the Meastronet community

I owe my last few years of violin-playing bliss to this group.  I stumbled on this site as many do, and made my clumsy steps into this community, but I appreciate the professionalism of the professionals, and the quirkiness of the characters.  I wish everyone a Happy New Year, and I am forever grateful.  Thank you.

I remember on new years eve, when I was a child, my mother told me I had to look out for a man "with as many noses as there are days in the year" who she said walked the streets on that special day. Did any of you see him this year?

I did! He danced through my neighborhood, accompanied by a group of musicians.

Gotta admit this place has made me a smarter person.  I'm also liking this warmer January weather hence the reply but there are regrets - I've lost eight people in the past two years that lived with-in 100 yards out my front door though it seems the thing to do is to keep trudging along.  Violin making helps a little.
