Kim852 Posted October 28, 2021 Report Posted October 28, 2021 I always get irritated by those terms such as “fine” “good” “interesting” “important” or even “property of a lady” I think they are really unnecessary as the descriptive terms of the lots Glad to see Tarisio has abandoned this in the recent auctions
duane88 Posted October 28, 2021 Report Posted October 28, 2021 Awww. I kinda liked the "School of Van Gogh" some years ago as well as the "85% of a Salchow Cello Bow"!
PhilipKT Posted October 28, 2021 Report Posted October 28, 2021 Advertisers love using terms that mean nothing.
Violadamore Posted October 28, 2021 Report Posted October 28, 2021 I'm waiting for someone to offer a "coarse, boring, common, and unimportant violin", that's "the property of a hooligan". It would certainly be refreshing.

I would suggest to divide the lots into reliably certified items and uncertified items. Better descriptions of the condition would be helpful too.
