I had a colleague who was a conductor, whose name is David Burgess, and when I first heard about David Burgess the violin maker, I wondered if the David that I knew had changed careers.

I’ve never seen a picture of our David, so for all I know it is the same guy… And you still owe me 20 bucks you jerk!
