IMHO, Florida's a much better place for holidays.
Shelbow
London is the best place to see Salustri's! Next time there is one you can all visit and we can go on a London pub crawl.

henrypeacham
Don't want to offend anyone, but perhaps Maesronetters might refrain from posting to this thread except when Shelbow is unaware of an obscure auction. It was his idea to start this and previous years auction notice threads and we all benefit from the contributions. There's no doubt Shelbow shall keep us all up-to-date within hours of any major auction notice if not minutes. Thank you Shelbow!
Shelbow
All comments welcome 100% of the time positive or negative. I often miss things as sometimes I am really busy or asleep so I am more than happy for people to tell me and post on here when auction catalogues come up as I might miss them. Also I am pretty sure I am still missing lots of auctions in general so please do tell me if you have found any that I have not added. Much love

Derek Law
Is there an auction where people buy/sell books about instruments, and/or old posters / calendars? I am late to the game and there are so many reference published say in the last 2 decades that are out of print now, and very hard to find even in this internet / google age. I saw quite a few in the last Tarisio T2 auction (and some in the prior Amati auction) but wondering if there are more sources.

Most of the big auctions will have books, posters and other instrument related stuff as part of their main sales. How many is quite variable between sales. I am not aware of any specialist sales of musical instrument books recently, but I suppose they might happen every now and then when a big collector dies. Shelbow
One of the best sources of books on instruments is Holfter https://www.holfter.com/ They often have specialist titles that may be out of print.
