Hey. Just wondering if Conrad Gotz has any violin with just a sticker inside? So weird because I havent seen any like that except this one that I own.

They have been around for a long time and labelled violins in a million different ways.

They are, btw, still around and if you ask nicely they might be able to tell you something about your particular violin.

Else, as Brad said, they are nothing special, also they traded a variety of grades.

It looks a bit like the label from a cake of rosin has been stuck in your fiddle, so you might not even have a “Götz”

Something like that had crossed my mind too, but not having used Götz rosin, I wasn't sure what the sticker went to.   As darned near always, we need more photographs to tell  @arielle123  anything useful.

This could be one of those impossibly rare moments when the instrument could be better than the label might lead you to believe?

I’ve seen one Conrad Gotz violin. It wasn’t mine, but it was an attractive and nicely made violin, and I think it sold 20 years or so ago for between $2500-3000. I remember it had fairly high arches, and it did take a while to sell, But if the OP violin is similar, it’s possibly not a bad widget.
