I've been reading on tips when looking for a keyboard and I'd like a full keyboard. Is there a brand that you would suggest to look out for or to totally avoid? Any features that I should look for? My budget is around $500. I do work at best buy so if I could get something on their website it would be ideal. They have Yamaha and Casio full keyboards for around my budget, would you guys recommend one over another?

It would be useful to know what they mean by 'full size' (61, 73 or 88-note?) , and also what sort of musical things they want to do with it.

Is there a minimum amount of polyphony required? Do they need it do be multitimbral? Do they need/want an on-board sequencer? Are they happy with a good second-hand legacy board or does it have to be available new?
