l33tplaya
Alexander Reshetnichenko from Albany and Valdosta orchestras. https://slippedisc.com/2020/12/us-concertmaster-offers-5000-for-return-of-stolen-violin/
Rue
I always find the situation involving a stolen instrument very sad. But I am also puzzled as to why a musician doesn't have a back-up (that will likely not be as good, but at least they'd be familiar with it)...and why anyone would borrow from a student. This article has it as "student instrument", as in student quality. Which may be his backup - the article also doesn't sound as if he's swimming in money. (This said, insurance is a good thing.) https://www.walb.com/2020/12/22/owner-offers-reward-missing-violin/
