This isn't something one can read as a date. Sometimes a year is clearly to decipher, but very often it's only some crickle-crackle (like we say) which can mean anything like the monogram of a worker, of a shop or how many scrolls the individual carved this week. After delivering it to the wholesaler/Verleger it could be stored for some twenty years or longer till it was alligned to a white violin body, which was stored for another period till it was varnished, than set up another time later etc.
