More about wolf notes on violin

Very helpful, thanks for posting.  My most recent violins have at least limited the wolfs to upper G string, with the D string clear.  Are Strad and good strad copies as prone to persistent wolf tones as GDG?  Is there something about the GDG model that makes it more prone to wolf tones?
