Post your favorite VSOs

Most of us can agree that EBay isn't the most reliable place to find a good instrument, but it does yield some marvelous misfits now and again. I thought it might be fun to have a thread where we can post some the weird VSOs that crop up there...

I usually describe instruments like the one above as having (a Nurse joke) Fiddle Alcohol Syndrome...

It looks like it was made by someone who had once seen a picture of a Linarol for a minute or two.

I like the first one.  Good color of varnish,  f-holes show a little bit of skill,  as does the scroll.  That bizarre outline reminds me of some old paintings you see where the artist really didn't know how to draw a violin.

Love the spontaneity and urgency of the master's hand.

Must be a very valuable Italian instrument of historical significance, no doubt.
