Base Bar repair

Recommended Posts

Rip kitchen paper into stripes, soak them in water and roll them up. Then place the wet rolls on both sides of the bass bar, Put the whole top in a big enough plastic bag for 24 hours. (Close the bag well.) Thereafter you should be able to gently force a palette knife in between top and bass bar. Moderate warming up the area with a hair dryer might. help in some cases.

I only doubt that you can put it back in place and I don't see the reason why to seperate it from the top for modifications.
