What would be the most prominent and worldwide recognizable US violin certificate shop?

Thanks.

Not a shop. Philip Kass in Philadelphia.

Bein & Fushi used to be the place.

Chris Reuning has a very good reputation and is better known internationally than Philip Kass. A Christophe Landon certificate also carries some weight.

Bows, whole other story ...

I would say Chris Reuning and Jim Warren are the most internationally recognized of the US experts.

Sorry, forgot Jim Warren ... agreed

Also agreed.   John Becker is another I consider a go-to person (and well recognized).

I thought it was Machold

I forget which listing it was, but one of the recent Tarisio violins had one of his certificates.

Yes I also saw that. I think Machold is out of prison.
