Ode' to #5

Recommended Posts

oh number 5 how I love thee

your golden glow starts the party

with you in there as my base

it's like a lawyer who never looses a case

the only sad thing with out a doubt

is when the jar runs low...

then the debit card has to come out

So Joe Robson I hope to die well before you do

else wise my projects will all look like poo poo

Well I must say that finally I'm running out of a large stash of extra I had from a Carlo project, and well, soon we must get more. just a big thanks to Joe for doing what he does. "hmm' what's that smell? is it Channel #5?, no it's Robson #5 "

Jezzupe is a poet and doesn't know it and I just wanted to say it first.

Occasionally I have a cortex, I think?

Jessupe, you're a very clever fellow, and I adore your work and your iconoclasm.

But your sense for verse is atrocious.

I know, I do the you do poo poo like no ones business

which one is number 5?  I can't tell from his website.  Thanks

#5 is the 5th element{jar}  in the order of things related to his balsam ground varnish kit that has 5 products/steps , it is unfortunately not for sale independently, but the best way I could describe it is that it acts somewhat like a thin wax free shellac. The entire kit is really great, nothing looks quite like it that I've found, when I'm "slumming" it I'll use wax free shellac and then his varnish ontop, I use the #5 on top of shellac very thin as imparts a wonderful golden glow and make the base coat for the top varnish very nice.

Strange things are blogged in the LA smog,

by the folks who there carve fiddles.

And sniffing varnish by the jar,

can fry one's brain like a griddle.

Odd things get penned here on MN,

But the oddest one may see,

are often writ by a tangential wit,

.who's known as Jezzupe........  ;)

Well VdA, I suspect that while you were at the south pole, the cold did to your brain what it did to that of Robert W. Service while he was mucking for gold near the north pole.  Glad that there are at least three of us who would add Service to the list of poets one can be exposed to here on MN, you, me and Sam McGee.........:D
