Fiddle fix - amateur edition

That's funny.  A finger patch is about the only repair I've done. (just splits and gum pockets) They're easy.  The rest of it seems like a lot of work.

I wouldn't worry about it, but what do I know?

It's hard, dried hide glue half cleaned out. I have a pic of it before I started working on it

In hindsight I should've left it alone. Now that I've cleaned out the glue I'll have to do a patch I guess. it seems invasive and I'm not comfortable about it being kinda close to the soundpost.

If you think it's not a problem I believe you...
