nielsonj Posted June 2, 2018 Report Posted June 2, 2018 I have a viola labeled as a Stefano Scarampella. I assume it has been mislabeled but curious what people think.
Ted Seitz Posted February 2, 2020 Report Posted February 2, 2020 I have a similar Viola, from 1906. They tell me it might be a Veregnola (maybe spelled Feregnola). Tell me, does it sound like a cello in the lower register, and kind of violin like on the A string? That’s a characteristic of those violas.
