Looking for spatula

Recommended Posts

Hello

Where do you get stainless steel spatulas? (various thicknesses )

I bought some from art supply stores long time ago, I don't see them any more.

Thanks,

Koo Young Chung

Sometimes you can get one that are sold for icing cakes and such.  I've seen them at craft store baking decoration sections.  Also look up Buffalo Dental spatulas.

Google "Stainless steel laboratory spatula".  You can find a wide selection at Fisher, Grainger, Southern Labware, Med Lab Supply, Thomas Scientific, Amazon, eBay, etc., etc., etc.  :)

Have you checked the bottom of your dishwasher?

Any suggestions on where I should look for my misplaced favorite flashlight? ;)

Probably best to start looking in the last place you left it...

Basicly anywhere you needed your hands for something else. In the fridge, next to the toilet

Not much luck, I saw listings but out of stock or discontinued.

Keep looking...

Don't have a dish washer.

Use another flash light to look for old one.

I always find something in the last place I look, so that's where you should start.

Thanks guys.

I had Holbein brand made in Japan,  anyone knows where to get this?

https://www.dickblick.com/products/holbein-spatulas/

Or go straight to the source, via eBay :

Try Cole-Parmer.com, a laboratory supply house.  Item SK-06369-15 is a stainless steel spatula with hardwood handle, 7 and 3/8 ", $31.50.  Lab supplies are usually more expensive than elsewhere, e.g., flea markets or hardware stores, but finding such a spatula takes time.

Ebay has all kinds and sizes (for cake, butter, cosmetics, paint palettes, etc), inexpensive, but as might be expected on Ebay, you pays your dime and takes your chances.
