Conor Russell Posted March 2, 2018 Author Report Posted March 2, 2018 No, we have a fan heater. We brought in the fridge too and left the door open, so the whole thing won't melt.
Violadamore Posted March 2, 2018 Report Posted March 2, 2018 Too cool!! (pun intended, that photo makes me want to don a down parka ).

Thomas Coleman Posted March 2, 2018 Report Posted March 2, 2018 Awesome Conor, I have two good luthier friends near you and they were just telling me about "The Beast From The East". Happy to see you making the best of it.

Roger Hill Posted March 2, 2018 Report Posted March 2, 2018 I do hope that you used a rotated catenary as the arching form.............

Roger Hill Posted March 3, 2018 Report Posted March 3, 2018 Must have used polar coordinates. Those would, of course, be North Polar Coordinates, as I do not believe there to be igloos at the south pole........

You've never seen what boredom at an isolated research station can produce, have you? For those across the Atlantic, currently suffering through the record storms, here's a reminder that Spring is eventually on the way, even for you guys:
saintjohnbarleycorn Posted March 3, 2018 Report Posted March 3, 2018 how much snow do you usually get anyway in a normal year?

My youngest son was two years old, so this was a first for him. That's my workshop in the background. A bit of a commute.
Rue Posted March 3, 2018 Report Posted March 3, 2018 We are under a prairie wide snowfall warning today... It's been an incredibly cold and ugly snow year...

It looks like you have about the same amount of snow as we have. That big storm the media was warning about dropped about 6 inches last night. Mostly just a cold wind.
