ID Game: Help please

I am in search of a good 3/4 violin.  These two look good to me.  Can you help me ID them?

I wasn't able to enlarge you pictures, however both would appear to be quite nice products of the Markneukirchen cottage industry from the pre-WWI period

By the Markneukirchen cottage industry, do you mean factory or workshop?  How about the wood used in the first violin (the first three photos)?

I almost bid one of those,  so I am assuming you purchased them.  I would suggest having them both set up and have your child try both, keep one and sell the other.

I suggest you put the term "Cottage industry" into Google or any other search engine
