Altonian2017 Posted April 5, 2017 Report Posted April 5, 2017 Hi guys - section leader here for a London non-pro orchestra that has programmed the Kodály next concert. Any idea how to lead a section to play the passage at 487 well? Syncopations are quite quick...
AtlVcl Posted April 5, 2017 Report Posted April 5, 2017 Sorry, I played the piece professionally a long time ago, no score available. I'm sure there must be a more appropriate Website where you can find help. Good luck to you. PS I love London, as do most Americans. "Non-pro"or otherwise, I'd love to trade places with you for a couple years!
Jacobus Drainer Posted April 6, 2017 Report Posted April 6, 2017 Syncopations are up bow. Not sure what you're asking. If you can elaborate and post a picture of that part of the part... P.S. actually I found the part online http://archives.nyphil.org/index.php/artifact/78520ac1-722b-4039-a0d1-bbec0807fb71/fullview#page/10/mode/2up Note there are two bowings, the one that looks like part of the edition, and the pencil one. I like the printed one, but the pencil one might make it easier at high speed if I tried it.
