Mat Roop
Thought you might want to see an inventive, elegant split peg box repair.. I'm sure the balcksmith thought it was elegant! Cheers, Mat

Mat Roop
Just when you want a spell checker to work... its not there...not once but twice .... I meant blacksmith. My apologies.....Mat
Jeff Jetson
My spell checker will often change the correct words to words not intended to be put down, and other often mistyped words such as woukd and coukd for example it glosses over. Mat Roop
This will be the most unusual repair I have ever done... It has a few normal cracks in the top, but the buyer is planning on using it in a film shoot set in the mid 1800's https://www.facebook.com/BlackDonnellysFilm/... the challenge is to repair the cracks without removing any of the dirt and grime. The new bridge will also have to be aged and antiqued with dirt and rosin. The blacksmith repair will of course remain as is. All of this is kind of reverse of what I normally do! What is normal is that this is another low budget job, more like a donation. Cheers, Mat

Frederick Dale
Slightly off topic but referring to Matts "most terrifying words in the English language" My vote goes to"some assembly required"
