I was playing in a group last Sunday when the head snapped off one of the other violinists' bow while she was playing.  It wasn't cheap and imported ...... It rather spoiled her afternoon.

Of course in the video, her bow doesn't "break", the plug simply pops out of the head, common enough in bows of lower quality, which includes most if not all ½-sized examples.
