1760 Antonio Gabrielle violin

hi,
a collector asked me to help him sell this violin,
i sell on ebay but i was wondering if this violin worth a lot and maybe its better to sell at an auction house.
can you please help me learn about this violin and maybe even give me an estimate for his value? 
any information would be great!

I'm afraid it's pretty much worthless.

It was a poor violin to start with but the condition is also lousy ...

Is it just the picture or does that grain on the belly look as wide as a 'paling fence'?

I hope that is not the best of his collection.. 

 

I will add to the other comments mentioning low quality, saying that it is French "trade" low quality, and yes, sometimes they used that sort of lowest possible grade timber.
