"View New Content" why does the button not work?

I would really appreciate it...if this button worked for me.  Easier for me to surf during the day...

Have you checked to see if any of the other filtering options are checked?  I managed to miss a few day's posts as I'd accidentally added "Items I participated in" to the filter list.

 

I've set my New Content Page's filtering options column to have:

By content type -> "Forums"

By time period -> "New since my last visit"
