Since the boaters and auto mechanics have already chimed in, let me cast a vote for using the aerospace conventions of fuselage stations, buttock lines, and water lines for X, Y, and Z location coordinates, and roll, pitch, and yaw for attitude.  And why stop there, when there are entire bucketfuls of associated terminology to plunder?  After all, the silly things do have wings, and some of the resulting puns and double entendres would be priceless  :P  :lol:  ;)
