Hi all,

I'm looking for a new violin, and I've taken a fancy to an old French violin. We've been told it's an 1880s Mirecourt,

Could you please tell me what you think of it, and possibly find out the maker?

The back measures 35.9 cm in height, it is very flat, and it gives a clear but warm, resonant sound.

Thanks,

Carlos  R.
