Omobono Posted November 5, 2013 Report Posted November 5, 2013 I guess we wouldn't have critical mass to make an app for Maestronet on mobile devices? Using the site is awkward (for me at least) on a tablet or smart phone. Any thoughts from administration or members? In the light of the relative success (my judgement) of the Strad app I thought it worth mentioning here. Violinist.com has a Facebook page, I notice.
Omobono Posted March 28, 2015 Author Report Posted March 28, 2015 I'm not a 'techie' but I'd imagine it is possible to develop a mobile version rather than the full site for tablets and smart phones as many other sites seem to have. Having said that it might not be as simple or inexpensive as that. "Maestronet on the Go" would be great for those of us who are on the move but want to keep in touch.
pbelin Posted March 29, 2015 Report Posted March 29, 2015 There is a mobile version, I'm using it right now. Some browsers don't suggest it. But it keeps jumping back to desktop version and doesn't remember what I've read. Not complaining though...

But it keeps jumping back to desktop version and doesn't remember what I've read. Not complaining though... Really? I can only find the regular full site on either a tablet or mobile phone. How does the URL read on your browser and what browser are you using, please? something like: www.maestronet.com/mobile ??
pbelin Posted March 30, 2015 Report Posted March 30, 2015 http://www.maestronet.com/forum/index.php?/forum/9-maestronet-news/ Wonder if that helps, and I don't quite understand why it sometimes jumps back to reality desktop version. The link to the mobile page is at the bottom left, but as I said it doesn't show on every browser.
Omobono Posted March 30, 2015 Author Report Posted March 30, 2015 As I said, I am not a 'techie' so forgive my feeble explorations. It dos actually work well for the forums and does revert to the full site (so far) for me. Pictures also display well. Thanks. I take it all back, Maestronet!
