Ken_N Posted November 24, 2021 Report Posted November 24, 2021 Thanks Michael. I looked all over the site for it. Using 23504 it comes right up. Weird. I'll try both the pr179, and pr264. The 179 is out of stock. I guess it's the pr264!

I will be doing some experiments soon with it. Stay tuned.

First, I’m working on adjusting the wood stain. Here are some photos. The lighting is a combination of a 6500K fluorescent overhead and a small ~4700K bench light. Camera is an iPhone 11 Pro. I’m halfway done with staining and burnishing. In a few days I will put on the ground varnish. Very nice. Can you share what you used for the stain? It resembles what I have used.
Michael_Molnar Posted November 27, 2021 Author Report Posted November 27, 2021 Protein-stabilized annatto. I will give details soon. Stay tuned.

Don Noon Posted July 16, 2023 Report Posted July 16, 2023 Can you tell if the top is torrefied or not? It looks a little light for torrefied, but dark for fresh wood. As I was recently reminded, Mike gave away 9 torrefied sets of spruce. I cooked 10 sets for Mike, so I was wondering where the 10th top ended up, and if this might be it.
